Three women and the genealogy of Adam and God
In the genealogies’ of Cain and Adam, it is interesting that only three women are mentioned in the lineage and genealogies’ of the people. The three women are mentioned as two wives and one sister of the men that are mentioned. The two wives are Adah and Zillah whom were married to Lamech from the lineage of Cain. Naamah is mentioned as the sister of Tubal-Cain.
The most compelling part of the genealogies’ is that they are from two different fathers. The first genealogy mentioned is that of the LORD’s of whom Eve mothered Cain’s descendants. The second genealogy is of Adam’s lineage. Adam knew his wife again is what Genesis states to which in place of Abel, God had given her a male son of whom they called Seth.
This leads to the difference between Adam and God. Adam was called Man while God is called the LORD. If you can just think about this for a second, then if there was the serpent in the garden and the LORD God said that the man has become like one of us now, then you can either make the assumption that the man is the Serpent or the man is Adam of which the LORD God was speaking about. Most likely, the LORD God was speaking with the Serpent when LORD God said that the man has become like one of us – knowing good and bad. Hence, the knowledge that the Serpent had when he asked if God really said not to eat from the tree of good and bad. So then the LORD God must be a mix between Man and Serpent – Lol, are you with me. Hence, the LORD [serpent] God [Adam] who has a mixture between Man and Serpent. Finally, when Adam knew his wife again, it was stated that she conceived a male son with the help of God.
This brings me to Isaiah chapters 49:14 – 51:3. In those chapters, it was stated to look back to the rock that you were hewn from and to ponder upon the patriarch and matriarch, Abraham and Sarah, the father of many nations. So part of that topic would include finding out about where you originate from – from what land did your first forefather come from. Since there are misunderstandings to where Cain met his wife and where the wives came from in the genealogies’ of Adam and Cain, it might be safe to assume that there were people other than Adam that were in the world to include one that many religions don’t consider a man – the Serpent [Holy One]. Adam was taken to the garden of God in Genesis and the Serpent was also created but there is room for imagination about where the Serpent originated and whether or not the Serpent was already in the world and in other places besides the garden. So one might say to find the place that one originated in ancient times. There are differences between the two characters – Adam and Serpent.
God is not man to be capricious, Or mortal to change His mind. Would He speak and not act, Promise and not fulfill? [Numbers 23:19]
Now the man knew his wife Eve, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gained a male child with the help of the LORD.” [Genesis 4:1]
Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, meaning, “God has provided me with another offspring in place of Abel,” for Cain had killed him. [Genesis 4:25]
Finally, Adam and the Woman were like Gods – knowing good and bad.
