As a part of creation it is probably right to notice that there is an expanse between people. In Genesis, it is written that waters are separated from waters. Do any of you wonder if there is a separation between living creatures or is everything wild? God created every living creature that moves here. So it all seems to be about man even though the creatures such as cattle, creeping things, and even wild beasts are considered in the opening chapter of Genesis. Once man is created and with the blessing of God, man is given the task of ruling over the living creatures and is given the entire earth and today there is even the separation of people within geographic boundaries. God blessed them and God said to them, “Be fertile and increase, fill the earth and master it; and rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and all the living things that creep on earth.”
The next part of the creation story opens with LORD God who made the earth and heaven. So here you have God as a master over man and all the living creatures of the earth. However, If there was ever one to know what the troubles of mankind are then it is God. Of course God is such that God is master over heaven and earth. So in that part of Genesis, God is given a title of LORD God. This might be the confusing part for whether or LORD God is God who began to create and then finished the earth and heaven and all its array. So if you take LORD God as a title of God in that part of the creation story, then that is the best way to start getting knowledgeable about LORD God who is in center in opening Genesis. In this part of creation, men have been created but there is the problem of the desire or moreover the will of men to good or bad. LORD God gives the command to man to eat but not everything.
And finally in the third chapter of Genesis, the narrative turns to man partaking in the desirable fruit from the middle of the garden. So in that section the eyes of the man and woman are opened and they hide from the LORD God who was walking in the garden during the DAYTIME!
